Through selected providers we also offer design, structural engineering, and installation of xeriscapes, renewable energy systems, and alternative wastewater treatment systems. Tallgrass Consulting is owned and operated by Jim Cooper, author of Log Homes Made Easy and The Log Home Project Planner.  Jim has been a General Contractor, builder and executive in the log home industry. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and has written about energy efficiency and sustainable construction in a variety of magazines.
